Gite Baie de Somme

😊: Location is great. Next to the sea, Carrefour close by. A big plus is that te accommodation had free bikes in the shed. Owner responds very quickly when you have questions. Also responds with respect.. 😢: The bed was really hard. It also gets really hot in the summer, and with no airconditioning it was almost too hot. Also it wasn't really clear with the booking that cleaning and bed sheets weren't included in the price. We took our own sheets with us and cleaned afterwards, but if you dont want that just know you have to pay around 50 euro extra..

😊: Ease of access and booking, value for money. 😢: I would have liked some tea and coffee available for arrival like other hotels but not essential.

😊: So much better than a hotel around same price. Remember, in France you normally have take your own bedding and towels for self-catering (owner offers at additional cost as well as cleaning). Would have been comfortable there for a whole week. The second bed is a sofa bed in the living room, maybe could be upgraded for heavier people like me ☺️ It's up a quiet alleyway of one story homes, very quiet and personally I was fine reversing my estate car onto the property..
