Lovely villa and lovely owners will be going back again

This very large and well appointed property exceeded all our expectations being in the beautiful French countryside. Sarah the owner was fantastic and made us all very welcome even providing us with details of local restaurants and local places to visit. The property was spotless with all the amenities required for a short as well as a longer stay. There is a small village 10 mins away by bike ride where one of our group went for fresh croissants most mornings. The Pool was heated and again very well maintained which we all enjoyed on the very warm days! We would have no hesitation in returning to this property and it`s owners as we all agreed we couldn`t have wished for anything more.

Our two families,ages ranging from 7 to 46, and our beloved dog had a spectacular time at this villa. The well-equipped kitchen and spacious dining area made preparing meals for 14 a breeze, and the outdoor BBQ added an extra layer of fun. The games room provided entertainment with meticulously maintained darts and pool setups, along with a variety of puzzles and games. The pool, always clean and comfortably warm, accommodated all ages. Accessibility was outstanding with flat floors, a ground floor bedroom, and a wet room for assisted showering. Bedrooms were generously sized, offering ample storage. Our dog revelled in the secure grounds, providing us with a delightful challenge to coax him into the car upon departure. While the location was wonderfully remote, a means of transportation is necessary for exploration beyond the villa. Nonetheless, the villa itself offers an abundance of opportunities for a restful and enjoyable break. We ventured out to local markets, indulged in a memorable visit to the zoo, and explored the nearby charming towns. Sarah and her husband were exceptional hosts, offering invaluable advice on the best places to go. They even went above and beyond by helping us order pizzas and arranging a vet appointment for our pup. In summary, our two-week stay was nothing short of amazing. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem to our friends. The photos simply don't do it justice. This holiday was an unforgettable experience that exceeded all our expectations!

This house is beautiful and pleasant to live in. Very well equipped and very comfortable. Inside or outside the house, you have all ! I was with my whole family (from my mother to my grandson) and they were all very happy about this moment ! Sarah is a great host, always available to answer our questions and always in a good mood ! I highly recommend this place !

We utterly enjoyed our recent stay, from start to finish we felt welcome and had everything we needed for a perfect family break. Sarah was extremely kind and hospitable and we felt we were staying with friends rather than renting a property. Having arranged this as a surprise birthday gathering for my father I can safely say that all guests were very pleasantly surprised by the large scale of the property and all the amneties - the games room and outdoor BBQ was a particular favourite! Within close proximity to Niort and other smaller villages, we had everything we needed a short drive away but opted for cosy nights in and big family dinners. If the opportunity strikes I would encourage a stay at this property!

Sarah's house is a real gem. It's beautifully decorated throughout with lots of thought given to creating cosy spaces within the open plan ground floor. This was absolutely perfect for socialising together with our family while giving everyone enough space. The kitchen is well equipped with a lovely large range cooker and a large fridge freezer and ice maker. We had no problems cooking nice dinners for our large family. The games room was really great and provided lots of entertainment with the pool table in near constant use after the kids were in bed! The outside area is where this place comes into its own and is what made us stop in our tracks when we first arrived The field in the back is very large and green with trees dotted around so the view is uninterrupted countryside. This gives the place a good sense of privacy and tranquility. The BBQ area, again has been set up with socialising in mind, with a built in grill and cooking area and a large table for the whole family. The pool is very inviting; it's large and clean with lots of loungers, umbrellas and inflatables to keep everyone happy. The upstairs was again beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were spacious and the bedrooms comfortable with lots of storage for our clothes. The location is remote which was absolutely perfect for us. We enjoyed cycling in the countryside and visiting the local towns from our base and the large supermarket was only 10 minutes drive away. The place is very kid friendly with a cot, high chair and bed guard in the house. The toy box was also a big hit. There is no guard around the pool so we needed to be vigilant with put life vests on our little ones but it wasn't a hassle. And the pool cover is quite simple to take off an on which is a bonus The house is very newly renovated and as such is squeaky clean in all areas. Sarah the host was excellent in her communication and generously helped us throughout our stay. We had a lovely holiday and would definitely stay there again. This is a perfect place for large groups who want to spend quality time together in very relaxing surroundings.

This property is a fantastic find. A dream home for your holiday with a well maintained heated pool which entertained all ages, and a pool table in a games room for some down-time. The house is beyond what you might hope for with lots of bedroom space and lots of places for groups to sit in sofas, at tables, at breakfast bar or on the patio. Everything for families was available including plasticware for safe poolside; and wifi for inside and outdoors. Added bonuses in the property include large grassy garden at the back with room for football; and the barbecue area has both shade and sunshine. The area is beautiful, with lots of activities in local area for families - abbey, chateaux, local zoo, bird sanctuary, and rich with local culture and french cuisine. This is an exceptional property, which offers a superb holiday destination.
