Gite Bellevue Cottage: a little paradise in Gascony!

Stunning views ,lovely pool ,wonderful hosts, everything we needed was there . Absolutely idilic cottage . A very relaxing holiday as planned . Owners went out of their way to assist with our break. They were very interesting to talk with ,we hope to return in the future

We loved our stay so much last year we returned for more. Our second visit did not disappoint - it really is a little paradise. Our trip highlight was a visit to the Abbaye de Flaran .... the current art exhibition included some amazing sculptures by Dali. Thanks to Frederique for the recommendation and everything else.

The gite is even more stunning than the pictures show. The views are fantastic the property is very comfortable and the hosts coukd not be better.

From the warm welcome, well-equipped cottage to the beautiful views, everything surpassed our expectations. Bellevue is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for absolute peace and the friendliest of hosts. We very much hope to return.

A beautiful property in a peaceful location with just the sound of the occasional tractor and chicken! Views all around us and super hosts. We were made to feel so welcome but also respected our privacy. The gite was so comfortable with everything in it we needed. Such lovely extra treats supplied on our arrival. Weather was perfect and the pool a luxury. We highly recommend this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bellevue Cottage. It couldn’t be more aptly named with its amazing position and lovely views all round. The stunning cottage, which couldn’t be anywhere but France, was equally lovely inside and had all the essential equipment and very effective air con. The pool was as inviting as it looks in the photos. The swimmer had a lovely time whilst the non-swimmer enjoyed feeding the chickens! There are beautiful villages and towns within an easy drive, our favourite being the historic La Romieu, where we made it (just) to the top of the stone spiral staircase in the church. Our host, Frederique was so kind and helpful. From the time we first booked the gite she provided us with suggestions to enhance our stay, such as the fun Bandas festival in nearby Condom. Upon arrival we were delighted to discover that the views from the property are even more lovely than the photos on the listing suggest. The gite was in perfect order and it was obvious that it had been properly refreshed prior to check-in. The very generous welcome package that is provided by Frederique and Stephane is way beyond the usual...all of the basics were in place for us and there was also an unexpected selection of gourmet quality local products. (To top things off, Frederique surprised us with a lovely decoration in her basket to acknowledge us as her first Canadian guests. ) The gite itself is modern and comfortable inside, with nice furniture, comfortable beds and reliable plumbing. The weather during our visit was too cold for swimming, yet the pool was always kept crystal clean. Condom and Nerac are both an easy drive from the property and the area abounds with pretty and unique villages that are all worth a visit. Our hosts actively work with their farming neighbours and participate in local associations in nearby Moncrabeau, and so Frederique was able to teach us much about the surrounding community. This greatly enriched our stay. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable vacation in a beautiful part of rural France, then don't hesitate to stay here.

Wow! We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful, well-appointed gîte. The views from the gîte are spectacular. Frédérique and Stéphane could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They directed us to some charming villages in the area and to a wonderful ice cream shop in Larresingle. Don’t miss it! We also enjoyed a Karaoke night at the local campground and a dinner and a concert nearby. Many thanks, Frédérique and Stéphane, for your warmth and hospitality. Bisous!😊
