Phillippe was a warm welcoming host.The cottage is very well equipped.The Garden and pool area is a great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a beer.Phillippe gave us some tomatoes which were the tastiest tomatoes ever!I'd recommend this place for it's quietness and great Vineyards close by.The tourist train vineyard tour at st emilion is a must.Some nice swimming lakes within a 20min drive.
We had a wonderful week! Lovely property with everything you could want. Private garden and pool for days to relax but the perfect location to explore the area, only a short drive to St Emilion and Libourne. Philippe was the perfect host with recommendations for markets and restaurants.
The house was very cozy and had all the necessary appliances we needed. The baker and a small store are close by and downtown Saint Emillion is a drive away. The owner (Philippe) was very friendly and helpful; he even gave us a few eggs for the next days breakfast till we could get to a market I town as we got in late in the afternoon.

We had a very relaxing two weeks in this comfortable, charming and well-appointed cottage. The cottage opens onto a rolling garden which offers several al fresco dining options and a clean and welcome plunge pool on a hot day.Sylvia and Philippe were gracious hosts, and particularly helpful on our first night after a 30-hour journey from Sydney. The village of St Philippe d’Aiguille is very quiet but has an excellent boulangerie a short walk from the cottage past the vineyards. There is also a good bistro at Puisseguin nearby. Description and pictures are exactly the same as arriving and seeing, with one addiction that is hard to describe the smell of the flowers surrounds the garden and house. Swimming pool is clean and heated as well as described Philippe and Silvie are very sympathic and willing to help whenever they can. House is well localized for the wineries, several very good ones are reachable within 10 to 20 min. When in the surrounding area will try to come back, was a very pleasant stay! Thank very much again Philippe! I can only recommend!
The house was very nice and comfortable, located in the country surrounded by wine vineyards. Our host was very nice and accommodating. All the rooms are on the same level so no stairs. Very nice modern bathroom and kitchen with comfortable furniture in the living area. Can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much!
The new renovated gite is fantastic. Equiped with everything you need. The garden is the most beautiful one we've ever seen - with exciting things to discover. We won't share, you have to experience it for yourself. The pool was a highlight and used by us every day. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, always there when needed, though we had always our privacy - We had a perfect vacation. We can highly recommend it.
