😊: Clean, tidy and well equipped. 😢: Initially hard to find but thankfully the neighbours assisted us.

😊: Beautiful location with access to the château. A lovely, clean and cosy space with a nice garden area. We had a lovely stay.. 😢: Some tea and coffee would have been nice..

😊: Location was as we expected. 😢: No information about the property in the property There was a woodburner fire -no info about how to use it, no fire wood, lack of equipment in cottage, cracked cups and glasses, only one (blunt) sharp knife. No lids for saucepans. Extractor fans on all the time in toilet and bathroom. Sofabed in living room area -very uncomfortable to sit on. Offered wine tasting, but no one available in the afternoon to do this although apparently open until 18.00..

😊: Fantastic! Great location for walking and exploring the local area. The gite has everything you could need for a small family or couple. I absolutely loved the style of the gite and 10/10 for cleanliness too. The Vineyard next door was also worth a visit. We will be back soon!. 😢: Nothing.

This is a truly special place. The location in Dampierre-sur-Loire is an ideal strategic base for exploring the area. We were just minutes from the historic town of Saumur with its magnificent château, a short drive from the incredible Fontevraud Abbey, and the famous Cadre Noir. Being so close to the "Loire à Vélo" cycle path was perfect for beautiful rides along the river. Private, on-site parking made everything easy and secure..
