😊: The house is nicely renovated and very private. It has good quality kitchen appliances (although I wasn't sure how to use them all) and a very well stocked kitchen with plenty of cooking equipment/ crockery/cutlery etc.. It is in a very quiet village location 5 minute walk from a public outdoor swimming pool (open mid June to mid September).. 😢: No air con or fans in the house and we were there for a week during a heatwave and it was very difficult to sleep so we spent two nights in a hotel (it could easily have been more nights) so this was added expense. The house was uncomfortably warm all day and night. I know it was a heatwave but it was the third in France that year and so a fan may have helped and could have been bought prior to the heatwave we experienced. The property is advertised as having a washing machine but this is wrong as there is NO washing machine. I would not have booked this property for a week if I had known there was no washing machine. There is no free kitchen cupboard to store food as all the cupboards are full of equipment..

😊: Convenient location for our journey back from the Auvergne to Cherbourg. Outside seating was good. Nothing in the local area worth noting.. 😢: Whilst the ground floor was well presented the bedroom floor was unfinished and clearly in the process of being renovated. The bath shower was old design and very difficult to manage and we note this has been mentioned previously but not rectified! The bedroom floor was very inadequately furnished. The host which we never met had tried to charge 15€ for towels whilst the website had them included..
