Gite Clos Angélique

😊: We had a wonderful stay at Gite Clos Angélique. The property is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Its peaceful location is also strategic—we enjoyed easy day trips to both Colmar and Strasbourg, each only about an hour's drive away. A special thank you to our host, Isabelle, for her exceptional warmth and recommendations. We highly recommend and hope to return..

😊: Isabelle was very friendly and helpful, really nice lady. The gite was very clean. Bed linen and towels were new and fresh. There was adequate space inside the gite. Beautiful location, surrounded by forests and very pleasant countryside. Off road parking at the side of the gite. Well equipped kitchen (mainly.) Places of interest nearby.. 😢: Expected private and direct access to a garden. Garden is shared with Isabelle, it is only accessible via steep steps, the garden itself is on steep incline. No view of the beautiful scenery even from the top of the garden - just the back of Isabelle’s part of the gite and the roofs of the houses opposite. There are 2 large dogs, very friendly but if you are allergic or have a fear of dogs you wouldn’t want to use the garden anyway! Gite is only in a village on a narrow road (direct roadside no frontage to speak of) there is building/renovation work being done nearby which was very noisy at times. And it is a through road so some buses and heavy lorries/farm vehicles going past. Didn’t expect air con’ but no fans in the property and upstairs particularly got very hot. The master bathroom had a bath with just a hand held shower it needs fixing to the wall and a shower curtain putting up! Not many people want just a bath nowadays..

😊: Lovely clean and modern in a lovely rural location. Safe parking for motorbikes.
