Exceeded expectations. Gite had everything we needed and more. Welcoming, helpful and kind host. Thick stone walls, double glazing and shutters meant it was nice and cool, even in the summer heatwave. Massive garden. Quiet location. Lots to see and do nearby - could easily stayed a month ! Mireille's garden - a shady retreat from the heat - a short walk away. Lifeguard supervised swimming (free) and water activities in summer at nearby Plan d'eau Hommes. Zip lining and treetop climbing, walks and bird watching at la Rillé, also close by.
