GITE D' ÉTÉ DANS PARC DU CHÂTEAU DE VILLARS EN PERIGORD

We loved our stay at the Summer House, it was comfortable, not too hot at night and the covered verandah was great for eating/sitting. The pool was lovely and very welcome in the hot weather. The surrounding area is very beautiful and full of interesting places/villages to explore. On the downside the communication with the owner was very sparse, I had tried to contact them a few days before we arrived (phone and email) and got no reply, so when we turned up I was quite concerned and it didn’t appear they were expecting us, although it turned out ok. Another thing which surprised me was there appeared to be no information in the accommodation about the surrounding area or what to do about recycling/rubbish etc. Just a little info and welcome pack would be very much appreciated for future guests. However, putting that aside it is a very special place and worth a visit.

Keith and I had an enjoyable stay 3 rd. year at Chateau Villars always a treat, first time in Trincou summer house, everything we could wish for with pleasant and helpful owners. Nothing too much trouble, thank you Bill for the emergency pick up in the thunderstorm unlooked for but a kind thought for 2 who are not so sprightly these days. Barbara and Keith.
