Gite de CHARME "L'Extazen", SAUNA et JARDIN.

The key for us was expectations vs reality based on listing details. I specifically filtered for a VRBO with a hot tub and a washer AND dryer. This one listed both but they were not available which was very disappointing and hard to overcome.They had included pictures of a beautiful hot tub on their listing but it is not on site and it is not free. I read the listing 5 times and tried to find where it said that was the case, but could not! That isn't something that should not be included in the amenity list!!! Dryer is probably a more cultural difference as they did supply a drying rack but that is not the same as an electric dryer which is the icon next to washer and dryer amenity and what I was needing. A picture of the front entry would be helpful as I was looking for the pretty stairs shown in the picture but that is the back garden area not the front so we were a little confused to start with. The entry way had a strange smell but that did not carry into the apartment thankfully. Parking was challenging at times especially to find places close by and we were in the off-season. It mentioned possible garage parking but when we arrived she said just park in the street and looking at the garage our car would not have fit anyway. On a positive note it was definitely clean and had been recently redone it seemed and had adequate space and the garden area was nice. It did have a sauna but we did not try that. Not something that interests us.

A super apartment- lots of space, clever design and verycomfortable. Parking on the street was free but tricky to get a space nearby. Bit of confusion over a hot tub, it is not on site which wasn't clear on the listing, not a problem for us but maybe worth making that clear. Sauna was inside the apartment and was lovely

2 weeks with my husband and son. The gîte is compact but with a wonderful outside space which is completely private. Great location for Fécamp itself. Walking distance of town centre, port and beach. Easy driving to lots of interesting places in the area. Sylvie was always contactable and friendly.

We stayed a 2nd time here and we love almost everything, excellent coffee in the cosy & sunny garden & superb view out of the bedroom! Only 450 steps to get the best Baguette traditionel & french baked goods. Thank you for this gite and please keep it as it is today!

We spend some great days in Fecamp and enjoyed the apartment. It’s close to the beach and you can get everything you need by foot.

Booked the property on the ground floor with the sauna, but Sylvie had some issue with her calendar. Fortunately, she had a lovely flat above the first one that suited us just as well. There was no sauna, but it had everything that we needed, was close to everything, and was very charming and well furnished. The attention to detail was excellent. It was impeccably clean, had most of what we needed, minus laundry detergent, soap, and shampoo for the shower. These things were easy to obtain at the Carrefour two blocks away. Great place, I highly recommend.
