Gîte de l'ébaupin

😊: The gite is well located near St Pourcain sur Sioule with all amenities. Lovely local market on Saturdays otherwise it is a quiet town. The gîte is in a hamlet elevated with views over the volcano chain and the Puy de Dome! The place is comfortable and cozy with a large bedroom en-suite. It was our second stay and no doubt we will return. We love the pool which is a good size and this year Bruno and Françoise added a super charming guest space outside the gîte with bar table chairs under a patio area. Loved this new facility which is relaxing and private to the gîte. The hosts are so welcoming and helpful making this gîte a favourite!. 😢: Nothing.

😊: We loved the quiet area with lovely views over the nearest town and the chain of volcanos in the distance. The owners were so welcoming and offered fruits from their garden and had no problem using having family visiting us during our stay at an extra cost which was brilliant. The pool area is clean and comfortable and very well maintained. The gîte was a great size with a modern equipped kitchen and air conditioning in both bedroom and lounge. Overall it is a great gîte to stay and use as a base to visit the area. I would recommend it and probably will go again next year.. 😢: For me the only down side was that the gîte does not have a dedicated area to dine outside overlooking the hills with a larger table and chairs in the garden. I felt this was a missing element which could easily be fixed by opening a section of the garden just behind the gîte. The only outside area was a gravel area between the gîte and the owners house with limited view and a pub style table/bench. The interior has a large table and chairs which was very useful..

😊: The hosts were extremely helpful, generous & friendly. The bedroom was large,airy,beautifully decorated & comfortable. There were plenty of utensils etc. The pool was an asset( in good weather!) Plenty of spaces to relax..
