Pet friendly with a lovely river for the dogs to cool off in the summer heat. Use of 3 electric bikes. Tranquil location in the French countryside. Highly recommend this property. Hope to get back someday.

Le séjour s'est agréablement bien...<br>#128578; L'emplacement du gîte est parfait et permet de visiter les villages aux alentours ou les villes un peu plus connues telles que Saumur, Chinon, Tour, Poitiers.... Les hôtes Maud et Frédéric sont très avenants et n'hésitent pas à nous expliquer les choses à voir dans la région. Encore un grand merci pour leur acceuil et amabilité qui ont rendu ce séjour exceptionnel.

Einzigartig Wunderschön<br>#128578; Ein unglaublich schönes Häuschen mit direktem Stellplatz für das Auto und einer einzigartigen Einrichtung. Es liegt ruhig gelegen, jedoch kommt man auch schnell zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten der Umgebung. Eine Bank direkt am Bach sorgt für wertvoll schöne Abende. Die Besitzerin hat einen sofort ins Herz geschlossen und stand immer für einen zur Verfügung. Sie ist so eine herzliche und nette Person. Einfach nur absolut empfehlenswert! Wir kommen wieder! Es war ein absoluter Traum!<br>#128577; -

Lovely location, great walks, electric...<br>#128578; I was greeted by the hosts who were welcoming and charming. On arrival, I was immediately made to feel welcome. I was shown the accommodation which was spotless. Maud and Frederic are very sincere, friendly people. They made us (me and my dog) feel so welcome. I could not recommend Le Gite de L’Octroy highly enough.<br>#128577; Really there was nothing that affected my stay. The heating stove was not working but the weather was reasonably warm. The region, like so much of France has suffered an extreme drought so it was very important to use water sparingly as it comes from the owners’ well, which is very low at the moment.

Exceptional<br>#128578; Everything !! extremely helpful and friendly owners ,explained everything in detail . Private parking , beautiful surroundings , excellent facilities ,clean and very comfortable . Books ,games and DVDs etc for entertainment .<br>#128577; Wifi weak but understandable in location .
