Gîte de La Dolanderie

Agréable gîte Très joli gîte. La présence d un ventilateur ou 2 aurait été la bienvenue.

Charme Excellent à tout point de vue! Les propriétaires réservent un excellent accueil aux vacanciers comme chaque année..! et je pense sincèrement revenir une troisième fois ! Un endroit bucolique, réveil au chant des oiseaux et les voisins sont sympathiques.

Séjour week-end 11 novembre Très bon accueil. Les propriétaires ont accepté notre demande un peu particulière d'arrivée le vendredi pour un départ le mardi. Gîte très confortable. Environnement très calme. Tout ce qu'il faut pour du repos.

Holiday 2025 It was a good location and quiet, but was a bit basic particularly in the lounge area. Having what was a drop down bed in the lounge was not ideal and we sat inside on our own fold up chairs that we had taken with us.

Au fil de l'eau Gîte fonctionnel bien localisé à l'écart du trafic. Local tehcnique bienvenu pour garer les vélos. Grand extérieur disponible. Proche du village qui dispose d'une superette bien pratique. A deux pas de la forêt de Blois, dont l'allée principale est une ligne directe protégée du trafic vers la ville. Aux croisements des routes vers de nombreux châteaux.

Comfortable stay This was a comfortable gites in a lovely village. However, we started on a very negative note. The gites owners do not provide towels, which I had completely forgotten so we had non with us. The gentleman owner was kindly but we felt that Madam had a very negative view of us. She stood by the door with very aggressive body language, arms folded and refused to engage with us at any level. We wondered afterwards whether it was because we were 15 minutes late to the gites, but they both had books with them, so were obviously anticipating a slightly late arrival. Also, the gites is not in Valencisse but in Chambon sur Cisse, so this needs to be rectified on the Brittany ferries site as both places exist!!I accept that it was my mistake to not bring towels, but together, they were less than helpful to help us resolve this, saying that they could do nothing as they had to go to work in the evening. They advised us to go to the village store to buy some. We then spent 20 minutes walking to the store and back, but the village store sells only food and we felt that they must have known this! We then had to drive to the other side of Blois to purchase towels and dish towels, after an internet search, a good hours drive on a Saturday night, after a long journey!! We felt very saddened that they could not support us in this and it was definitely not a good start to our week. It was a great pity as the gites is in a beautiful situation, very clean and generally well equipped. I would just add that, although sheets are provided, they are old, worn and bobbly! So, if you are fussy about such things take your own and don't forget your towels!!!

La vallée de la cisse Gîte dans un environnement très calme. Nombreuses possibilités de visites, châteaux, jardins... et randonnées.

Séjour château de la Loire Accueil des propriétaires très agréable. Maison de plain pieds au calme bien situé pour les visites des jardins et pour les randonnées, très propre, jardinet à l'arrière de la maison avec salon de jardin et pergola très jolie. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour pour deux personnes.
