The property is in a quite location with good parking. The host Chantel is friendly, accommodating and speaks English.The property is clean, well looked after, well-equipped spacious and comfortable. Comprising of a living room, kitchen diner, two double bedrooms and a bedroom with two single beds suitable for children.Outside there is a spacious garden, a barbecue and outdoor eating and sitting area.The location is away from villages and amenities but ideal for a quite getaway and to explore the Vendee.

Chantal was a delightful owner who lived next door and was most helpful whenever needed. Had multi channel tv so able to watch QE II funeral in English. Spacious character accommodation with two sitting out areas. Welcome “pack” with cake, coffee and tea with other extras provided. Most enjoyable stay in an area with many charming villages and historic abbeys.

Easily booked plus Chantal Blais was very quick at responding to questions I had. Lovely gite with plenty of space. Can easily accommodate 6 people, 2 being children, and was very well equipped. Situated in a very quiet village with no shops, it was necessary to have a car to get supplies, etc. Chantal was very helofuk and was able to speak to us in English, and was gappy to gelo us soeak French. Very enjoyable experience.

Chantal Blais is a most welcoming host and the house is very spacious with lots of options for eating outdoors, which we did every evening that we were in. Comfortable beds and excellent bathroom facilities, although a shower curtain is needed in the room with a bathtub. Lots of equipement in the kitchen - most of it not used, but a garlic crusher and a potato masher would have been handy! All in all, a very pleasant stay and good value for money.
