Gite de la rivière avec patio et parking centre ville

😊: Excellent location in Le Mans. A short walk to the cathedral area and the old town, as well as the tram. The decor was great and everything was easy.

😊: Great location in a very quiet neighbourhood only a 20min walk to the city centre. 😢: The house was very hot, not surprising given the summer weather, but it could have been better ventilated. There was a very strong smell of tobacco, particularly bad downstairs, but it smelt everywhere, it could not of drifted in from outside, it was a dense and old smell of lingering tobacco smoke. There were NO BATH TOWELS and no dish towels provided. There was only a 3/4 used toilet paper roll and no new ones anywhere, we checked every cupboard. The spiral staircase is made of wood and feels weak and it is very noisy. Also the exterior green bin was completely full, the black bin was empty. The smell of smoke and lack of towels & toilet paper were the biggest let downs otherwise this place could score a better review..

😊: The contact and clear instruction and information from Christine from the first point of booking was excellent. The Gite was very well equipt. It had off road parking but also plenty of space on the road for our second car. Lovely little outdoor area but a shame it wasnt dressed with cushions etc. We took lots of blankets from our own home and made the outdoor comfortable.as this outdoor space is one of the reasons we booked this gite. The location was great and perfect to visit both the old town and the city in walking distance.. 😢: The spiral staircase was not great for my parents. I would recommend a photo being put on the booking sites incase people are travelling with older parents..
