😊: We loved the location, Bergues is a lovely place to stay. Although we didn't meet the owner, communication by email and the app was very good. The property is in a nice quiet road with free parking about 6 minutes walk to the main square. The sofa and bed were nice and comfy. Nice kitchen with dining table and selection of crockery and cutlery.. 😢: Others have mentioned it already but the spiral stairs are narrow and steep. There are two toilets at the property but none on the same floor as the bedroom. Kitchen could do with some saucepan lids, a chopping board and a bread knife. We could only get Netflix and other internet TV channels on the kitchen television. The television in the lounge only had French channels..

😊: Location is good, that's it.. 😢: Host is rude. Place is not clean, 3 floors with a strange layout. Windows don't open on the 1st floor and it's full of dust. They ask you to clean and give you a full checklist of things to do. Overall horrible experience. Not worth the money at all..

😊: The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable. It was a very comfortable bed and we both had a really good nights sleep. We parked very easily outside and the communication with the host was excellant with lots of information on the house and the are in general. We had a lovely stay and would definitely like to return..

😊: A real “maison de village” experience. 😢: The stairs are really steep, I would suggest to indicate it more clearly in the booking information.
