Gite de Saint-Cernin

Très beau gîte dans le Périgord Très beau gîte idéalement situé à proximité de nombreuses découvertes culturelles (Lascaux, parc du Thot, gouffre de Proumeyssac, château de Marzac, Sarlat…). Au calme, dans un village avec commodités (supérette, épicerie locale, boucherie, boulangerie, salon de thé…), vue magnifique sur la forêt (nous avons eu la chance d'apercevoir un cerf et une biche). Nous avons savouré notre séjour !

Nice calm and comfortable place to stay. Nice place to relax, and all comfort available. Kitchen equipped with all appliances you need. The views over the little valley is beautiful, and Gilles was very helpful explaining everything during the warm Welcome at arrival. The only thing I missed were sunbeds that can be made fully flat to lay on your stomach. And the amount of flies are a lot, due to the horses and donkeys in front of the house. (Which are nice) I would advice to bring something to kill these when they fly into the holiday home. I made a booking mistake (month to early) gites de France wasn't willing to help and rebook to another date, so be carefull and triple check your date before confirming. Anyway I enjoyed the stay even my wife couldn't come now.
