😊: We stayed at this property for three weeks and it was truly a special experience. The house itself is spacious and beautifully set in nature -we woke up every morning to birdsong, had our meals outside on the terrace, and ended each evening under one of the most breathtaking starry skies I’ve ever seen. A roe deer would occasionally wander up to the house, which felt almost magical. The owner was exceptionally kind and welcoming -the kind of host who genuinely makes you feel at home. Three weeks gave us the perfect base to explore the region at a relaxed pace. Within one to three hours by car we visited Lourdes, Biarritz, crossed into Spain, and hiked some incredible trails. The area is also a paradise for food and drink lovers -local wines, Armagnac, foie gras -we came back from every outing with something delicious. If you’re looking for a proper escape from city life — space, silence, nature, good food, and endless things to discover around you — this is it. We didn’t want to leave.
