😊: The location was really good. 😢: A bit expensive.

😊: The apartment is very nice - a beautifully renovated old house situated in a countryside, surrounded by just a few other houses and horse stables. It contains all you need for a pleasant independent stay. I would happily return to this place.. 😢: The only - really only - thing that caused me a real headache before the arrival to the apartment, was the deposit requested. It was announced before I made the reservation, but as it was the first time I was asked for a deposit, I expected it will be done automatically through booking.com. But it was requested to be done on a separate link that I was first worried to click on and later when I clicked on it it did not work /maybe not allowed by my bank account/. But without the deposit I did not receive the code for the key to the apartment - yet had the apartment fully prepaid already. Probably deposits are standard requirement in France, but I was not familiar with it. However, in the end we somehow managed and we spent really nice days there..
