Gîte Domaine du Couhourg Avensan

We had a great week at Couhourg last week. We were 15 (from 9 to 74) and the house was large enough, the number of bedrooms largely sufficient and the accommodation as well the possible activities (ping pong-billard-pétanque-swimming-pool...) . At 1/2 hour distance, possibilities of nice visits-wineries-citadel of Blaye...A bit further the incredible visit of the lighthouse of Cordouan (from Le Verdon-sur-Mer). We warmly recommend it. The Lakes with great aquatic activities at Bombannes and the beach (surfboard, aqua park...) for all ages, ....Bordeaux was at 1/2 hour distance with parking systems (P/R at 3,50 per day 7 bus tickets) and very nice monuments Above all, the landlady, Céline, was very friendly, very helpful and very responsive to solve minor problems or give advice for a doctor... The house had a really charming little old-fashioned style. Thank you , Céline, for this nice stay at your home, for your kindness and your benevolent presence. You made our stay fantastic ;-)

Spacious and picturesque property in a lovely rural location with an attentive host. Well-kept house with games, garden and pool. A truly restful break and a very special holiday. Thank you Céline!

The house is lovely and situated in a quiet area. We stayed with friends and had everything we needed. Celine is a good host and responded to messages quickly Some parts of the house are quite dated and really need to be refreshed. Toilets and showers in some of the rooms need refreshing. Otherwise, a lovely stay in a very pretty area of Bordeaux and close to a lot of vineyards.

Le gîte de Céline est parfait. Nous avons passé un week end entre amis, tout est fait pour se sentir bien : joli environnement, chambres agréables, des jeux d'extérieur et d'intérieur... Et Céline est une hôte accommodante, facile d'accès. Merci pour ce séjour

Celine was an excellent host. Fab location out of the way, but not too far from the local town/ vineyard!! Lots of games and activities for the children to do and the pool table and dart board were used regularly, it was like having our own bar in the house! Fab swimming pool and excellent value for money.

A fantastic gite in rural France. Great amenities including a pool with a safety gate which was ideal to ensure the safety of young children, a games salon with a TV, soft seating area, pool table, and plenty of fun games for the children. Overall an ideal property for a family vacation.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Die Lage ist etwas außerhalb (Taxis sind etwas schwieriger zu bekommen) aber mit einem Auto ist es perfekt. Also ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen. :)
