Gîte du Bois Brillant

😊: Great location, clean property with good air-con, in a very peaceful setting. Thoroughly recommend!. 😢: There is a sofa and chair on the patio, but a small dining table and chairs for the patio would have been a great too! We had fantastic weather and wanted to dine alfresco, so we ate whilst sitting on the outdoor sofa, watching the sunset!.

The property itself is a detached gite ideal for two people with private garden with countryside views and is comfortable and well equipped and ideal for a quiet break with easy access to Ancenis, shops etc. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.<br>#128577; Nothing to dislike.

😊: Nice spacious studio room with a comfortable bed. It was good to have a kitchen prepare meals to eat in, as heading out for meals on dark nights and country lanes didn’t appeal much. Wifi worked fine.. 😢: Kitchen missing some essential items such as oven mitts for taking hot food out of the oven and sharp knives- we were prepared with oils and food items, but generally don’t carry kitchen utensils with us. The bathroom needed hand wash, we had our toiletries but hand wash or soap is usually provided. There were a lot of dusty and not quite clean surfaces when we arrived. It was rural, would have been fine in summer, but on winter nights not conducive to heading out to eat on an evening..
