😊: Spacious and the pool was a great plus We stayed for 10 days and would stay again. We had our car to drive out to places, the lake is great fun Out door seating for a drink and play cards was lovely . So quiet and peaceful. 😢: Nothing.

😊: The setting, the view, the pool (when we were permitted to use it). This property would be perfect if the owners did not live next door and allowed paying guests to enjoy their stay without judgement or constant monitoring.. 😢: We booked this property believing, from the listing & photos, that it was a private property with unrestricted use of its heated saltwater pool, as we've experienced with many rentals across Europe. The listing described a "whole house" with a pool, but only a few weeks before arrival did we discover, hidden in the final photo & facilities section, that the pool was unavailable from Saturday lunchtime until Monday morning for cleaning & the owners' personal use. Although they offered a refund, it was too late to find a suitable alternative. The house & setting were beautiful, but after our children (10 & 12) spent just over an hour using the pool, the owner messaged claiming the neighbours had complained about noise. The neighbours were the owners themselves, who live next door - the message felt unnecessarily condescending. We then found a four-page list of rules, including no noise, cleaning requirements before departure, & even a ban on sunscreen in or near the pool despite temperatures exceeding 30°C. These restrictions, combined with the owners overlooking the property & pool from their garden, made us feel watched rather than welcome. My wife, who suffers from anxiety, spent the rest of the holiday worrying that the children were making too much noise. We even left a day early because we no longer felt comfortable. Before leaving, we thoroughly cleaned the property, vacuumed, cleaned the shower & kitchen, & left it in excellent condition. After raising our concerns politely, the owners responded with rude accusations that we had done "no cleaning," left the house in a poor state, and even implied we had a drinking problem because there were a number of empty wine bottles (cooking & drinking). 😊: Spatious, clean Holiday house. Nice area.. 😢: The place was a bit diffecult to find. Put the house number on the streetside of the house and correct the house number (106?/160) on the Booking.com website..
