Holiday cottage - Glandage

😊: The property was unlocked so we just went in - there are still rural places where you can do that! The location was a rural village in a beautiful area with Lizard Orchids growing opposite the gite. We could sit outside which was in shade later in the day (which, at 38 degrees, we needed!) or sit down in the meadow across the road near to a stream - there was a barbecue here which was for guests use. The gite was spacious and facilities good. The water is drinkable from the tap. The village doesn't have a shop, but you can get groceries from Lalley or Chatillon-en-Diois, and there is an excellent restaurant in nearby Grimone. It is a quiet area with little traffic - bliss! Lots of walking trails and good cycling. The property was easy to find - it's the first track on the left as you enter the village from Grimone.. 😢: There was nothing we didn't like apart from the searing temperatures!.

Das Dorf liegt sehr abseits, es ist sehr ruhig. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ca. 15 km weit weg. Ideal zum Entspannen, aber das muss man mögen. Für uns war es das Richtige! Wandermöglichkeiten überall, auch direkt von der Haustüre weg! Die ganze Gegend ist wunderschön! Très déçus de notre réservation pour cette destination. En raison du confinement en vigueur en France nous n'avons pas pu nous rendre à Glandage et aucun moyen de décaler ou de nous faire rembourser notre réservation nous a été accepté par Abritel, la plateforme et la propriétaire.

Très bonne connexion Internet, bien isolé, confortable, bibliothèque avec des livres sur la région. Propriétaires logent en dessous, pratique s'il y a un problème. On ne les a vu qu'à l'arrivée. Météo moyenne en décembre, dommage,la région est très belle.

Accueil chaleureux, nos hôtes étaient très sympa. Un endroit ressourcant, proche de belles randonnées, de via Ferrata, et même possible d'une promenade à cheval.
