Gîte du Moulin Pidoux

😊: Fabulous quirky setting for a lovely apartment above a water mill. It was well-furnished and had lots of free activities on offer to take part in including boule and kayaking. Breakfast was included which was really nice, and there were lots of herbs and oils etc in the kitchen which I find really useful when travelling. The air conditioning was very welcome during the latest heatwave. The proximity to Calais made it a great stopover on our way home to England.. 😢: As the gîte is literally on the water there is bound to be quite a few mosquitoes around which you need to cover up for!.

😊: The Gite was located just off the autoroute in a very pretty village, right next to a river. Three bedrooms, one on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs on a mezzanine. Kitchen fully equipped. One bathroom on the ground floor, which was extremely clean. Lovely sitting area for relaxing at the end of the day. Good WiFi and parking. Excellent hosts..

😊: Lovely location. We stayed for one night on our way home, close to the toll road which is convenient.. 😢: Amenities were a bit on the low end..

😊: Really original and unique setting, clean and comfortable, nice beds and friendly welcome.. 😢: Some minor noise and vibration from the water wheel mechanism, not enough hot water for two showers without a wait..

😊: Quirky accommodation with lots of space! Great views out towards a derelict castle and the river..
