Gite entre Avignon et Orange

A nice property, well converted and laid out. Both bedrooms have ensuite showers but there is only one toilet. The pool is nice but is not heated and was too cold to swim in.

We had a wonderful week chez Magali et George. They were gracious hosts, very informative and helpful. The accommodations were tasteful, well appointed and private. There were many evenings at the table outside, facing the spacious backyard lined with flowering shrubs, and a pool always inviting for a dip. The location is very quiet, in a neighborhood of vines and even some large lavender fields just down the tiny road. The general area is great for visiting vineyards and beautiful hilltop villages, and not far from the elegant town of Avignon. This is truly a wonderful place.

Very beautiful and centrally located in the Provence region. You get the old French farmhouse experience with modern conveniences.

Great location to explore the Valcluse region of France. The hosts were excellent, even brought is chicken soup when we arrived late on a Sunday when everything was closed! Loved the fresh eggs!

Perfect. From the eggs and cherries on our arrival to the thoughtful details, this cottage will exceed your expectations. As crazy semi retired college professors from Washington state we looked extensively for a VRBO that was authentically beautiful in wine country. This is it. The location allows easy access to Orange and Avignon and the Wine Route, but feels so special and tucked away in the country. Georges and Magli were endlessly patient with us; from our late arrival to our seeming inability to access the Internet, despite their clear instructions. This is a 200 year old structure that has been so tastefully updated. Every detail in the interior design show thought, kindness, and quality workmanship. We are returning to Washington state appreciating our stay at this equisite and genuine cottage.
