Gite ESKITZA Kayolar

Very nice and clean house up on the mountain between cows, donkeys, sheep, horses in a silent place. Outside old traditionel, inside modern with all convenience you need. Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, Biarritz, Pamplona are nice cities around, worth a visit and can be reached in 20 to 90 min

Superb property in a beautiful location but we experienced poor misty, rainy, cloudy weather which limited our ability to take full advantage of the outdoor area. Access road up from the valley is very narrow and very twisty and is 8km from Arneguy. Great care must be taken!! A great place to go for peace and quiet with vultures, sheep, cows and pottocks for company.

Isolé au milieu des pâturages de montagne, le gîte est d'une tranquilité absolue, le panorama sur les montagnes environnantes depuis la terrasse offre un spectacle de toute beauté. Idéalement placé le gîte permet de découvrir la montagne basque en promenade ou petites randonnées.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans le pays basque magnifique paysage, gîte très bien équipé et très propre, les propriétaires Bernadette et Jean Michel agréable et très gentil nous garderons un très bon souvenir d'eux à recommander

Hemos estado a gustísimo durante toda la semana que hemos estado. La casa cuenta con todas las facilidades pero lo mejor son las vistas! Maravillosas! Tenemos muchísimas ganas de volver, Bernadette y Michel tan sido muy amables y atentos cuando lo hemos necesitado y, además, su queso está riquísimo! Nos llevamos dos quesos enteros, uno de ellos para regalar y voló!!

It felt like we had the whole mountain to ourselves, the views were better than the photographs and the accommodation was perfect. The hosts were guiniune and offered a glimpse into their lives in the mountains with consummate charm and ease! Thank you

Perfect place..... Glorious views over the hills and valleys from the isolated gîte. Gîte itself was ideal for two.... Possibly four good friends could manage but would also work fine for a couple and their children. Perfectly kitted out - modern and attractive inside the lovely old stone building. Lovely to hear little but cowbells! Maybe a car every 2 or 3 hours. If our French was better we would have understood the instructions to call into the farmhouse and the hosts would escort us up the mountain to the gîte. So our arrival was a bit confused..... But at least we got to meet Bernadette and her husband. They are lovely and very patient with our lack of French. We loved it at Gîte Ezkitza!
