Gîte insolite situé à 800 mètres de Bayeux

This place is a hidden gem just outside the city centre of Bayeux. Lovely peaceful surroundings and a 20/25min stroll to the tourism hotspots. Emmanuelle Bernard are great hosts. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Extremely quiet, charming converted chapel. All facilities you would expect, sadly no dishwasher or tumble dryer but we made do. Also no bedsheets or towels - you can rent some or remember to bring your own. As a base of operations for exploring it was perfect, Emmanuelle and Bernard communicated well and gave us a warm welcome and then basically left us to get on with it, which is exactly what we wanted.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub bei Bernard! Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt! In den 14 Tagen haben wir sehr viel gesehen , erlebt und vom Haus aus, konnten wir sehr viele Sehenswürdigkeiten entdecken! Jeder Zeit würden wir gleich wieder kommen!

We had a very relaxing stay at Logis St Julien. The cottage is a converted chapel but is very modern inside, and is located in farmland on the outskirts of Bayeux. It was very quiet and peaceful but only a 20-25 minute walk to the centre of town and the museums. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and especially good at communicating prior to the stay. We would definitely stay here again!

What a charming property! Clean, comfortable and convenient to many historic sites and great eating and shopping. Bernard and Emmanuelle were always available, and even helped out with returning our rental car and calling a taxi. We really enjoyed the farm animals and Eden, the friendly resident dog. I would definitely recommend this place.
