Beautifully peaceful and private holiday...<br>#128578; We loved the quiet, peaceful and private location. The gite was tucked away in its own little world yet it didn’t feel at all remote nor isolated. The nearest town was just a nice distance away and we used it as a base which fulfilled all our needs. It had a small supermarket and patisserie. Sandra is a very intelligent and helpful host. She went far and above to help us, gave us a complimentary bottle of wine from the vineyard next door, a pot of delicious homemade jam and offered to have us ...<br>#128577; Nothing that would make any difference.

Tranquil and utterly delightful.<br>#128578; Gîte la canopée is the perfect place for enjoying the tranquility of the French countryside whilst still being within 3km of the vibrant town of Duras with it’s many bars, restaurants, artisan crafts, a great night market. Château Duras is magnificent. The Gîte is very well equipped with every convenience. Fixtures and fittings are of a very high standard, including a very comfortable bed.
