Wonderful characterful property with amazing artworks throughout and in the beautiful grounds. Lovely swimming pool. Kitchen fully equipped with plenty of room but we sat outside to eat all the time next to the wonderful smelling lavender plants. Our host could not have been nicer or more helpful especially when one of our party was unwell. I cannot recommend enough. There is a Le Relais restaurant around 5 min walk which is cheap and good for a very relaxed unfussy lunch and lots of very good restaurants a short drive away. Again if you want a wonderful relaxed place to stay with a superb host this property is perfect.

Amazing place to stay. House, grounds, and pool were perfect for the 9 of us to relax around. Leticia was a fantastic host, friendly and very helpful. Francueil is a lovely village; great Boulangerie and an easy drive to all the places we wanted to go to in the Loire.

We chose this property for its central location to visit the Chateaus of the Loire and it did not disappoint. Francueil was a perfect location almost within walking distance of the gorgeous Chateau Chenoceau and within 40 minutes of most others. The property looked just as the photos described amd the pool was a welcome amenity to cool off after a long day of exploring. Leticia, the owner, lives in a separate apartment and is almost invisible, except the exact instant you might need her assistance, and then she is ready to help with suggestions on where to shop, dine, or places to visit. Our only disappointment was that our stay was too short as we had to leave for Bordeaux after two days. We hope to be back again.

Old world quaint accommodation. Very French, comfortable and cosy.
