Gite la Péraie - Le Chêne

😊: The fact that there was a pool and free to use on a rota was amazing. There's live stock, a goat and donkey, both of whom the kids fell in love with. The hosts spoke better English than we did French, and with Google Translate, we understood each other. The area was peaceful but super close to Puy du Fou. Free parking.. 😢: No WiFi for 2 days... we all ran out of data, which added to our cost. The primary bedroom is in the lounge, it's just cordend off by some drapes, not private at all. Booking.com states 'linen', but this isn't the case, so that was another added cost - but the host gave the towels for free - which was lovely. One toilet roll for a family of 4 for 4 nights...bring more..

😊: Lovely little place, friendly and warm welcome. 😢: I may have failed to read all the details in advance, but in the context of a short stay it was annoying to realise that there was extra to pay for sheets and cleaning - though the host was happy to support us in doing the cleaning at the end (all very responsible cleaning products :).
