😊: The house looks brand new on the inside, beautifully renovated. It is immaculate and we loved the icecold complementary bottle of champagne from their own domain. We stayed there with a family during a heatwave and it was great to have thick walls, shutters and a fan in each room. We took our dog and found a great walk just across the bridge, lush green walking/cycling path for miles. We also had a great picknick one evening in the same green area on one of the benches. It was a short drive to Epernay and beautiful winding roads through sleepy villages all around.. 😢: Just beware that many things are closed in August (like the village bakery). Didnt matter too much because there is an intermache close by..

😊: Lovely house, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Middle in champagne area. Easy communication. All was foreseen for our baby (bed, bath, chair,..). 😢: Nothing.

😊: Our group of 7 guests and 4 pugs had an exceptional stay at Gîte La Villa Marcelle. We loved the beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished villa, which offered a perfect blend of modern comfort and charm. The kitchen was well-equipped which allowed us to have delicious family breakfasts and dinners. We were also provided with various coffee options, including filter and capsule machines, which we thoroughly appreciated. The hosts welcomed us warmly with champagne from their family’s vineyard and a delicious home-baked cake, making us feel truly special. Additionally, the lovely enclosed garden was perfect for our dogs to roam safely, and the provided water bowl and poo bags were a considerate touch. The hosts were flexible and accommodating with our check-in and check-out arrangements, and there was ample parking for our two vehicles. Communication was easy with the hosts and we would gladly return to this wonderful retreat.. 😢: The villa's location near a railway means you might hear the occasional train passing by in the morning if the balcony doors or windows are open. This could be a minor inconvenience if you enjoy a lie-in, but it did not significantly detract from our overall enjoyment of the stay..
