😊: We had a wonderful stay at the Gîte Vintage Home in Colmar! The house is beautifully decorated with a charming vintage style and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was spotless, cozy, and full of character. The location is perfect — just a short walk from the old town, shops, and restaurants. The host was friendly, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. We truly felt at home and would love to come back again!.

😊: The location of the apartment is in walking distance to the city center. Most of the things were as described in the booking information.. 😢: We had to adjust our check-in time due to the host’s work schedule, which wasn’t clearly stated in the listing. Although the description mentioned check-in by 16:30, we were later informed that, since it was a weekday, we could only check in during the lunch break or after 18:30. This was unexpected and inconvenient. The most disappointing part of our stay was losing a shopping bag containing valuable items from Galeries Lafayette. We accidentally left it behind, but the host was unable to locate it, explaining that a different cleaning team had handled the turnover. Despite her attempts to assist via messaging and by contacting the cleaning company, the items were never recovered. It’s difficult to understand how such clearly valuable belongings could simply disappear. This is the kind of issue one rarely faces at a hotel, and future guests should be aware of this risk. Lastly, while the apartment was generally quiet and relatively clean, it fell short of our expectations based on its reviews. The sofa bed pillows were stained and worn out, the kitchenware was not fully clean, and we noticed some spider webs in the toilet. Edit after the host's response: We didn't actually know that this acommocation is not a paid service but host's personal offer although we paid around 220 Euros for the stay. Indeed, I must say that I found the response a bit unfair since there were obviously spider webs on the ceiling of the toilet and even the glasses in the kitchen were stained. As claimed by the host, we did not even cook and had only drinks using the glasses and I did not know that we were supposed to wash and clean them. Sorry for using the kitchen and not doing the dishes. Finally, as written in my previous review, the host or cleaning team has the responsibility to go through items left in the room if they are NOT in the trash..

😊: Apartment was lovely, host was very nice, was pretty clean. 😢: Tiny bit too far from the main area, sooo many stairs, lots of really loud noises.
