😊: Beautiful home, comfortable inside. Spacious with plenty of facilities to cook with etc Read parking was difficult on previous reviews but we found it was more than enough parking space and easy to fit into. Close enough by car to local shops shopping centre etc. Lovely views. Enjoyed the hot tub. Did have a malfunction where it over heated but we managed to sort that, still relaxing to enjoy. Beds were comfy enough. Over all did enjoy our stay but we would have recommended some improvements. 😢: Wasnt provided enough wood initially or firelighters, as it was very cold outside, basic heating equipment should have been in plenty of supply. Had to message owner for help with this. Did have an issue on the final night with upstairs guests who'd arrived that day, that was incredibly noisy throughout the night. Chairs screeching and banging continually until late. Thankfully it was our last night and not our whole stay. Messaged owner about it as had to be up early for a long drive back to the uk to no reply. Also left a brand new jumper which wad a Christmas gift there. Totally our fault I get that, but messaged owner to see if this could be returned to us (we'd have covered full cost of this) no reply initially then stated only IF cleaner found it could a return be arranged. No ifs about it, the jumper was left there on the dresser, so probably discarded and no further reply to return. Was disappointed in that from the owner. Would have also been handy to have has English guides as all in French and couldn't read them. Slight damp smell on linen towels and sheets. Not a bad issue but think the shower behind the bed isn't helpful. In summer time where warm enough to fully ventilate with windows I think this wouldn't be an issue at all..
