Gite Le Vieux Pressoir, Val de Dagne. Near Carcassonne. Heart of the Corbières!

Would never book anything through VRBO again, they are a very disinterested company and I couldn’t get the courtesy of a reply to my complaint.

The house is located in a lovely nice village close to the cities Lagrasse and Ribaute which are wonderful places in the Sommer for swimming in the river. The house itself has plenty of space, a new kitchen and lots of other extras like a planche (gas driven grill plate) and a beertender machine. The village Montlaur has everything you need, a small shop, a butcher and once a week there is a market. For larger shoppings there is Leucate reachable in a 25 minutes ride. Overall this is a lovely place if you like the Corbière région, the silence of the country side and don't mind not to be that close to the coast. We will come back for sure.

We’ve had a wonderful time in Montlaur at Le vieux pressoir! The host had great recomencdation about the local activities and yummy restaurants. Very peaceful place. I would definetly recommend it!!
