Gîte Les Fourches

😊: The location was stunning, accommodation was rustic and cosy. The host was also welcoming on the whole.. 😢: On arrival there were about 50 flies swarming the gîte. The insecticide was hard to find so we had to spend money buying our own and then had to spend an hour and a half finding and killing them all. As the host stated, we are aware that there are flies in the countryside however we did this on our first night and they did not return for the remainder of our stay as we kept the windows and doors shut, so this was something which should have been sorted before we arrived. There is also a €25 euro charge for linen which was not stated until after booking. We had hoped this would be waived to account for the time and money we spent sorting the flies but unfortunately it was not. Overall this made the stay unfortunately fall short of our expectations and not value for the money we spent.

😊: A pleasant stay in the countryside, tranquil and calm. Property was very clean and functional. Owner lives above the property so on hand if you need anything!.

😊: Lovely place in the countryside, and close to Lower Gorges of Verdon. Very spacious and good internet. Kitchen fully equipped, living room very cozy.. 😢: Limited check-in time, some conditions only appear after booking.

😊: The Gîte Les Fourches was the perfect choice for our holiday in the Verdon region. The apartment is very clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need. The location is wonderfully quiet and ideal for exploring the area. A big plus is the private parking space right at the house. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Our dog was also warmly welcomed, which was a huge plus for us. We felt completely comfortable and would gladly come back again..

😊: Beautiful 18th century house in perfect setting to visit Verdon region. Expect nothing but silence, calmness, birds chating, it's a very charming place. Nathalie is a perfect host to help you with all you need.. 😢: We would recommend to improve the house with amenities (soap, shampoo...)..

Exceptional<br>#128578; Perfect location for exploring the vicinity. Lovely quiet and secluded outside spaces to enjoy. Gites was spotlessly clean as described in other reviews. Exceptionnel<br>#128578; L accueil des hôtes, le coquet logis et l' emplacement idéal à côté du lac et à proximité des lieux à visiter. Les espaces verts bienvenus pour faire courir notre chien.<br>#128577; Juste un bémol avec le fonctionnement aléatoire de la télévision. Même si on ne vient pas en vacances pour regarder des séries !...
