Gîte "Les Nouvelles filles de la Campagne"

😊: We had an absolutely lovely stay at "Les Nouvelles Filles", ideally placed for us near the villages, countryside and cycle routes we love. The gite is so well-furnished and comfortable and really airy and light for a building of this age. The secluded location and the views from house and garden are superb - and even though the weather for our stay was indifferent, we were blessed with the most beautiful pink sunset cresting the valley. Our hosts were a discreet presence, leaving us very much to ourselves, but so helpful when we needed it. We would heartily recommend this property as a place of real tranquility and beauty and very much hope to return..

😊: The owners were so friendly and helpful and provided an additional DVD player when we couldn’t work the one that was there. Excellent quiet time, near zero light pollution and plenty of wildlife. 😢: The WiFi is slow so don’t expect to download lots while there..

😊: The location of this beautiful gite was incredible, and the views of the valley from the front quite magical. The gite was very homely, clean and well equipped. The owners were lovely - attentive and very helpful. We were given apples and tomatoes from their garden, and advice on places to visit. This is probably the best place I have ever stayed in.. 😢: The front of the gite does look over part of the owner's garden, and into their house so sitting out on the front patio in the evening did make us feel like we were invading some of their privacy. There is a large private area of back garden to use as well though..
