Well equipped property located close to the Alsace wine route and the mountains and hills of the Vosgues. Greeted by the helpful owner and his wife. Only things missing is a private outside area in the garden and the relatively poor lighting in the property which meant leisure reading was a strain.
We were very happy for our stay at this nice, clean and authentic apartment located in very beautiful settings in the small town in the mountains. Very nice hosting with excellent communication before and under the stay. We felt we got a lot for our money. We can highly recommend this place.
This is certainly the best equipped gite we have stayed in. As a couple both in our seventies it lacks nothing needed for a comfortable stay. The owners were welcoming and full of help and advice. In spite of the weather during our stay we were able to appreciate the views over the village and hills. So many interesting places to visit and enjoy, including Freiburg in Germany, the motor museum in Mulhouse, and the nearby village of Kayserburg.
The apartment is very clean and has enough space to be comfortable for two and with all the facilities you would want. The furniture and bed were comfortable and the kitchen had everything you'd want. There was a nice space in which to sit outside and a garage was available for the car. Daniele and Jacques were helpful, pleasant and welcoming. We mainly went to The Vosges to hike and do a little sight seeing. There were plenty of walking available and most were well signed. The Tourist Information in Kaysersberg has a small booklet of suggested walks for sale (2Euros) which gave us a good start.
