GÎTE PRESTIGIEUX AVEC PISCINE CHAUFFEE, SALLE JEUX BILLARD ET TENNIS

A delightful setting, very quiet and during our stay generally very good weather. The pool is brilliant and was enjoyed by everyone in our party. This is not a venue if you are expecting five star luxury, it is a venue if you a looking for a relaxing stay in very nice large French home that can easily accommodate a large group, in our case our four adult children, their spouses and our seven grand children. The owner, Stephanie was very helpful, though because of her commitments we only met her when we were leaving at the end of our stay. If you enjoy walking or cycling, there are numerous quiet lanes and field paths to choose and there are a number of VTT routes. I would recommend without hesitation.

Beautiful property - grounds and home. Perfect for gatherings of families or groups. Well appointed for a mix of leisure, play and relaxation. The owner is very personable and easy to work with. Would highly recommend!

Our party of 17 had a great holiday at le vau. The house is a little bit "tired" but that is more than compensated for by the swimming pool (a few more sun loungers would be good) and extensive grounds. An excellent location particularly if you like wine tasting! There are plenty of things to do at the house - tennis, table tennis and other games. Some of the party enjoyed canoeing which is about 15 mins away.

We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for everyone despite being a large family group. We enjoyed playing tennis and using the pool - although it was a bit chilly for a couple of days. Stephanie responded really quickly to all of our queries.

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour au gite Le Vau, celui-ci est parfait pour un groupe de 20 personnes, très agréable et bien équipé. Seul petit bémol pour l’incompréhension sur la piscine qui n’était pas en service et le terrain de tennis peu praticable. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer un excellent week-end !

The gite was perfect and helped make our family holiday amazing. The checking in process was very easy and the communication between the owner was really good as we were delayed slightly coming over from England, but all was explained via text and when we arrived it was very easy to find keys etc. We had a party of 14 and it was definitely big enough with room still left over if there had been more. All the bedrooms were good sizes and there were plenty of bathrooms with separate shower rooms and also 2 baths. The beds were really comfortable. The layout of the house is good which means you can always see outside making sure the little ones are ok. There was lots of seating in and out of the house. The dinner tables were a great feature as there was lots of space if we didn’t eat outside. The pool was brilliant and we all had great fun with our inflatables. Again this is right outside the front door which meant it wasn’t far to get too. There was plenty to do both at the gite and in the local area. There are lots of vin yards with the most amazing wines at a fraction of the price of the supermarkets. The supermarket is a 5-10 minute drive and has everything you need. Stephanie was great and always quick to reply if there was any questions. If your looking for a chilled out family holiday then this is the place to go, We would definitely think about staying here again.

Had a brilliant holiday courtesy of Stephanie and would happily go again (in fact have already asked for prices on some dates for next year). There were 3 families consisting of 4 adults and 11 kids of varying ages. Everybody had a great time and were sad to go at the end of it. As it was during the heatwave the pool was used a lot. Was a really good size and was useful having fence and lockable gate to stop kids just wondering unsupervised. The actual house was really nice and a really good size, not to mention that the grounds themselves were great for kids just to go out and play in. Its next to a vineyard in the countryside and so it is lovely and peaceful. A few nice villages close by with small shops to get daily necessities and about 15 minutes away there is a Hyper U supermarket if you want to get a big food shop in for the week. Also a petrol station there for fill up on the way home. 2 huge dining tables make for good family meals. Cant really think of any negatives. Maybe pool was slightly murky at first but this was down to extreme heat and Stephanie came round to take a look and drop some more pool cleaning products in as soon as this was mentioned. This did the trick and we were all happy to play in the pool anyway, so just nitpicking really. The fact that Stephanie acted so promptly is much to her credit. So overall brilliant holiday and we hope to go back at some point. Thanks Mark
