Gîte "RDV au 3" - Maison de 5 chambres (12 pers.)

We really enjoyed our time at this house. We were two couples but the property had loads of extra room so that 3 families would be comfortable. Julie was a gracious host and ensured we had everything we needed. She even went so far as having her husband bring by charcoal for the grill when we couldn't find any at the local markets. We would definitely recommend this house to others!

We stayed here for a couple of nights on our tour through the Champagne region. In hindsight we all agreed that we should have booked this place for the whole time and used it as a base to explore from. There is very little that I can say apart from that the photos do not lie - this place is beautiful from top to bottom. Julie, the owner, who lives very close by showed us around when we arrived and explained all of the various areas including how to operate the hot tub. During our stay she also took us on a tour of her vineyard and did a tasting of her Champagne with us. The Champagne is lovely (and a bottle of it was there to welcome us when we arrived) and the tour and tasting was amazing value at only 6 euros each. The location is a fairly small village with a small shop, pharmacy and bakery but there are some large supermarkets within about 15 minutes drive in the local town. The Gite also comes with a BBQ so that is an option as well if the weather is good. Overall, I cannot recommend this place enough so as the title says, just book it!
