Gîte rural (2 chambres, 4 personnes) près de Dinan

Die Vermieter Jim und Jo haben viel Herzblut in das Objekt gesteckt. Es ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, alles funktioniert und passt zusammen. Die Beiden haben uns herzlich empfangen, immer ein offenes Ohr gehabt und waren sehr großzügig, ob es ihre Zeit oder andere Annehmlichkeiten waren. Wirklich toll! Das Anwesen ist genauso wie beschrieben. Der kleine Sprung mit dem Auto zum Meer, etwa 25 Minuten zum Badestrand oder Zöllnerpfad, ist kein Hindernis, denn überall kann man umsonst parken. In der Umgebung bieten sich viele Ausflüge an, der nächste Supermarkt ist 5 Minuten entfernt und in den Wald geht es dreihundert Meter entfernt, wenn man einen Hund hat - optimal! Wir möchten wiederkommen!

Super séjour dans le gîte. La piscine et la salle de jeu très appréciable pendant le séjour. Gites au calme. Propriétaire très gentil, sociable.... Rien à dire, juste excellent sejour

Joli endroit, idéal pour décompresser, entouré de forêt et proche de DINAN. Un petit bémol : frigo trop petit mais les propriétaires vont remédier à cela et lit matrimonial un peu mou. Expérience à renouveler

Le gite de la Coupaudais, a tout ce qu’on peut espérer d’un gite : confortable, propre, calme, conforme au descriptif, dans une région touristique de premier plan. Mais ce que nous avons surtout apprécié est la qualité de l’accueil des propriétaires, (ils habitent dans le même hameau). Ils font tout pour que le séjour soit le plus agréable possible : conseils, efforts louables pour parler français, copieux repas du soir sur demande servi chaud dans le logement (bien pratique quand on arrive), sans parler de la production faite maison proposées en bonus (confitures gouteuses, cidre fruité,..). Cerise sur le gateau : il a fait vraiment beau et chaud pendant ce séjour d'automne. Gite à recommander.

This was our first visit to the Gite at Les Fougeres in July 2015 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Joanne Jim are very friendly and welcoming and have done an amazing job on the property. The Gite provided us with a home from home with a well equipped kitchen, tastefully decorated living space with wifi and TV included. The enclosed garden allowed us to relax with our dog on his first holiday in France. Les Fougeres is situated in a quiet country setting but with in easy reach of Dinan, St Malo, Dinard Rennes. We enjoyed our first holiday here so much that we have already booked for next year.

As the title suggests, we have been visiting Les Fougeres for over 10 years. To begin with, as a newly married couple, and now as a family of 4. We have also introduced other family members to the delights on offer. The location never ceases to enthral us and we are still finding new things to do and visit. The accommodation is immaculate with lovely decor, keeping in a traditional French theme with a modern twist. All the amenities are included, fully equipped kitchen, use of a barbecue, washing facilities and additional freezer space. Beautiful landscaping in a beautiful setting. The location means that you can do as little or as much as you want. There is a guidebook supplied with lots of thorough information regarding sights, towns, markets, opening times, museums to visit, etc. The owners are very welcoming and friendly hosts who are on hand to offer help and information if required. Looking forward to next year!

We wanted a long romantic weekend in a cosy country cottage with good restaurants and places to visit nearby. We could not believe our luck when we arrived at the gite, we were not disappointed. We arrived from Stanstead just before10:00am and could not believe how easy, quick and cheap the flight was. We sailed through customs picked up our hire car, again easy, quick and cheap (£35) and arrived at the gite for 10:30am. The gite was absolutely lovely, warm, spotlessly clean and had everything we could have wanted and more – the pictures do not do this place justice. The gite has a big log burner which the owners leave ready for you so all you have to do is light it, the most comfy bed with lovely bedding and a proper shower. Off to the local supermarket 5 mins away to stock up on all the lovely food that makes you feel happy and content. We visited Dinan, very pretty and Dinard which has a spectacular beach. Both were nearby and easy to find, we also went to a wine fayre in Rennes, a beautiful city that we hope to visit later in the year. We had some wonderful lunches out, a special mention must go to Le Genty Home recommend by the owners, a fantastic restaurant with amazing food for 16 euors for 3 courses. We spent the evenings in front of the log burner, drinking wine and feasting on delicious cheeses and other delicacies we found in the supermarket. We left on Monday morning with heavy hearts and without a walk in the forest at the end of the garden, but we will be back to see what Les Fougares has to offer in the summer.
