😊: It was very spacious. 😢: It felt a little ‘bare’ in the upstairs bedrooms.

😊: A quiet and comfortable nest from which to explore all the pleasures of St Valery and the Baie of the Somme. Christian and Marie-Pierre were the perfect hosts, on hand to give whatever advice and assistance required. The kitchen was perfectly appointed and the stove kept us warm and toasty! You could not do better than to stay here for your holiday in St Valery.. 😢: All perfect!.

😊: A great gîte to stay in. We stayed 1 night, having got off the eurotunnel. It was exactly the right place for the quiet and rest we needed. Town is maybe a 5 minute walk, it's a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to a main supermarket. We saw a wild seal and watched a steam train on its turning circle all within 20 minutes of each other on one night. When we returned the gîte tired and ready for sleep it had all the room we needed to sit in silence and read and relax before sleeping. A great stay. 😢: It's an older property and that is the nature of this area. You need to allow for it to be full of character, but we loved it..
