Gite with terrace & garden

😊: Beautiful renovated gite, location central for exploring towns and the coast.. 😢: Big no no, and a word or warning, wood fired heating, NO working carbon monoxide detector, we had to replace the batteries ourselves, so it eventually worked, if you stay here and the stove is in use, please check the carbon monoxide detector, its on the stairs. No welcome pack or instructions, so didn't know how appliances worked. The gite wasn't ready for us despite arriving after the check in time, beds unmade, towels still in drier. Had to buy own toilet rolls and washing up stuff, and had to do own general clean. Food left in draws from previous occupier. Had to phone the holiday company a couple of times as the heating stopped working, lucky the owner lives in the farm opposite. The gite could be managed a hell of a lot better, felt like the owner had a a couldnt care less attitude. If you visit with your dog and walk them on the lane, please be mindful as the farmers allow there dogs to run free and one of the larger dogs comes across aggressive..
