Gîtes chez Daniel "Appartement Cevennes"

😊: Although I only arrived in the evening, Daniel was flexible and present to welcome me. The cottage was truly ideal for me and my dog. If you are looking for peace, calm, coziness, and authenticity, then this is the perfect place. Some absolute highlights of the accommodation: The porch: What a huge added value! The window opens on both sides and offers a sublime, panoramic view. The kitchen & amenities: Very fully equipped with everything you need, including an oven, microwave, and a fridge with a freezer compartment. There are even two types of coffee makers available; although I am not a fan of Dolce Gusto myself, it was ideal that there was also a filter coffee machine. The bathroom: Equipped with a nice bath and instant hot water. Connectivity: The Wi-Fi works really well! Additionally, I was very charmed by the little touches waiting upon arrival; that certainly left me wanting more! Finally, the surroundings are beautiful. The nature there is breathtakingly beautiful and lends itself perfectly to wonderful walks. Highly recommended!. 😢: I am happy to give you a 9. The accommodation was great, only the plants unfortunately looked a bit sad. That is why I have put a few new ones down for you, so it looks cozy again immediately!.

😊: The building is a cascina as we say in Italian. I was in the blue door apartment. There were 2 awkward bulky steps to enter which with knee replacements I found difficult. The property was very Italian in style. Bottle of Kruger on the table with cookies on the pillow. Just like in Italy where in a baita the last person would replace the bottle of wine. Steps down to the bedroom which were steep for me and a step into bath. I had to sit on towels to swing my legs over. Hand held shower. Overall quite charming and very un-French. Probably because the host that met me was German. Everywhere I stay in France is always horrid so this gets a good rating. It is a mountain village and all the properties will be converted farmhouses or hay rooms therefore the ceilings are low and multi use of buildings. Very traditional buildings and clever conversion of old animal and hay rooms.
