Gîtes de France - L'Escarpolette

A week of rain; a week of sunshine The first week we stayed the weather was wet, the gite is so lovely, well appointed and comfortable that this wasn't a problem . For city dwellers the garden is , in itself, a joyful, spacious piece of nature. The local bakeries operate six days a week but their days off don't coincide so you can take an early morning trip to the surrounding towns and villages to get fresh bread every day. The second week of our stay was brilliant warn sunshine. Swimming in the sea at Petites Dalles or Fécamp is twenty minutes away. At this time of year the sea temperature is a perfect antidote to the days of intense heat. The gite is light and airy and close to the greenery, so it's possible to eat inside and feel that you're outdoors. The region is full of beautiful countryside and very pleasant people. L'escarpolette is a retreat minutes away from the seaside and towns and yet is minutes away from good shops and fantastic historical buildings. If you find a better place to stay , please let me know.

Très agréable séjour à Riville Un gîte très agréable, spacieux, très propre et fonctionnel, dans un petit village mais au calme et bien isolé de la route et des maisons voisines, à moins de 5km des commerces... Le sauna traditionnel est un peu long à chauffer, mais de belles dimensions et quel plaisir ensuite d'en profiter, dans sa maisonnette au fond du jardin :) Et un grand merci à Sylvie et Alain pour leur accueil, leur disponibilité et leurs conseils.

Eas war eine tolle Zeit in Riville Das Ferienhaus ist einfach fantastisch. Der Gartem ist oerfekt, um sich zu erholen. Die Lage ist toll, alls Sehenswürigkeiten kann man gut erreichen. Wir können das Haus bestens weierempfehlen.
