Another stay in this lovely house Our second stay in this great old house, and almost everything we said in our review 25/06/25 still applies. Mélanie has taken over management of the property, a very pleasant lady who arrived on time to meet us at the beginning and end of our stay. She had kindly left some drinks for us which were very welcome. Our only disappointment this time was that the bottom of the extensive garden hadn't been mown and the grass there was very long, whereas the grass further up had been strimmed very short and was largely earth, so our walks right round the garden enjoyed the previous year were not possible. Outwith her control, it was a heatwave, too hot to use the swimming pool and our dog's main exercise had to be walking round the village very early, and swimming in Cajarc (although there is a place where a dog can swim by the bridge below St-Pierre-Toirac if there aren't any fishermen). The house is simply a lovely place to be so having to stay at home in the heat of the day wasn't a problem, and the car can be parked in the barn under cover, where it keeps relatively cool. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it once again.

Vacances au top Une 2ème expérience pour nous dans ce gîte que nous aimons beaucoup. Nous nous y sentions comme chez nous. Même le chien a vite retrouvé les traces de son passage en 2024 :) Sa localisation est parfaite pour visiter les petits villages pittoresques du Lot et de l'Aveyron. La piscine nous a apporté un vrai confort durant la canicule qui a sévi plusieurs jours. La petite épicerie du village qui a réouvert ses portes cette année, fut un vrai plus (dépôt de pain et viennoiseries, produits bio et locaux...). Le petit marché du mercredi soir nous a permis de profiter d'un petit concert occitan depuis le gîte. Bref, des vacances au top ! Tous nos remerciements aux propriétaires qui resteront dans nos pensées jusqu'à ce que nos souvenirs s'effacent hélas, avec le temps qui passe...

en dehors du temps que du bonheur, séjour ressourçant avant la rentrée ... de belles balades, de beaux paysages, dépaysement total, nous reviendrons certainement, merci de proposer de tels écrins !!!

Incroyablement ressourçant Séjour formidable dans ce gîte magnifique, authentique avec tout le confort désiré. L'endroit est magique, très paisible et ressourçant. Une région où la nature est omniprésente avec beaucoup de choses à découvrir. Estelle et Julien nous ont offert un accueil très chaleureux et ont été à disposition si besoin. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

ECHAPPEE A ST PIERRE Plusieurs séjours dans cette propriété familiale La fraîcheur de cette maison (construite en pierres) nous a permis de supporter la canicule cette année Idéalement placée, dans ce joli village, et ses alentours, nous y étions très à l'aise à deux couples ; et la piscine était plus que bienvenue pendant ces chaleurs précoces une épicerie et un restaurant (super !) sous les platanes de la place du village. Le contact avec la famille propriétaire est très facile, des gens adorables qui répondent très rapidement à nos questions Merci pour cet accueil , votre disponibilité, et cette maison où l'on se sent un peu comme chez soi ! Such a lovely house Furnished and decorated as a cherished family home rather than simply a rental property, this house was a pleasure to stay in. Having thick stone walls it remained relatively cool when the temperature outdoors was very hot, although the bedroom was still warm at night. The bathroom, shower room and toilets were all well presented and everything was clean. The lounge/diner was simply amazing, enormous with a lovely wooden floor and even a piano! The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and we really appreciated that soap, washing up liquid and some dishwasher tablets had been left for our use. We loved the large garden bordering a field at the bottom with beautiful views from the top, and totally dog proof, which was reassuring. The introduction by Christian and Dany was delightful, they clearly love their property and care who stays there. It was good to meet Estelle and Julien and their little dog when we left. We discovered many different short circuits around the village for our morning dog walks with a coffee at the cafe and croissant/pain au chocolat from the shop to finish with. Les Loupiotes also does an excellent lunch time "Menu" using locally grown and sourced ingredients, and pizzas in the evenings several days of the week. We know the area well from previous visits and there are so many interesting places in the vicinity, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

Vacances Détente Le logement est agréable, spacieux et bien équipé, sans vis-à-vis avec les voisins. La piscine est un "plus" lors de fortes chaleurs ou après une randonnée (certaines sont au départ du village). Des informations sur la région sont disponibles (visites (Figeac, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Grotte de Foissac, Peyrusse-le-Roc ...), musées, descente en canoë/kayak du Lot ou du Célé et randonnées). Les hôtes sont accueillants et sont facilement joignables. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.
