Beautiful house The house is like a dream of Normandy. We toured in the area but we also just loved the house so much that we spent time just hanging out there. Genevieve welcomed us warmly. Vimoutiers is small but charming, with at least a few god restaurants. AAnd of course bakers!

Lovely oasis, fabulous hostess, quiet retreat The owner greeted us with a tour of this lovely cottage, replete with exposed wooden beams, comfortable, inviting furniture, and well=stocked kitchen, and even left us with a delicious apple tarte for us to nibble on throughout our stay. The bed was comfortable, pillows excellent, and a good night's sleep was assured after busy days exploring Vimoutiers, Camembert and the region. Two friendly cats kept us company while dining al fresco, and it was an added bonus to be able to walk into the quiet center of Vimoutiers, which offers all the amenities one could wish for during a stay. We highly recommend this gite and gratefully thank our hostess for the extra effort she put in to ensure our stay was all we had hoped for. I only wish I could rate this gite higher than a 5...it is surely deserving.
