Gites de la Motte Parent - Two-Bedroom House

A perfect place to stay...<br>#128578; A beautiful gite. It is in a great location for getting around to visit places in northern Brittany. It was lovely to have the owners close by in case we needed anything, which fortunately we didn't. It was very peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Beautiful walks around the area. We certainly couldn't fault anything. Yves and Chlo are the perfect hosts.<br>#128577; There was nothing wrong, all was perfect.

Very traditional but ideal for a family. Our 2 and 4 year old loved the garden and the owners' adorable dog, Nino. There is loads to do in the local area and Clo was nothing short of the perfect host. Would return in a heartbeat - absolutely fantastic value for money!

Exceptional<br>#128578; Convenient location for exploring the area. The large house wonderfully situated in a beautiful garden with great views. Helpful and friendly hosts. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. Large supermarket, gas station and bakery close by in the village. I wish there was time to sit still more, but there were so many wonderful places to visit around ...

The Blue Cottage is a great place to stay! The house is comfortable, well-equipped, and very clean and pretty, with charming blue-themed decor. The back yard, with its lawn half in shade, half in sun, is delightful: there’s a picnic table out under the trees, and another table on the patio if you prefer a sunnier spot. The village Intermarche, bakery and butcher are a pleasant 10-minute walk, or a very short car ride, away. Plouguenast is a great base for exploring Brittany. We enjoyed going to all three coasts, and also exploring cloer to home: the Maison des Toile and its sister museum the Musee du Tissage, all about the linen industry; the stud farm (Haras) at Lamballe, featuring magnificent Breton draft horse stallions; the angora goat farm in Corlay; innumerable villages with their impressive churches; and the country scenery. Finally, Clo and Yves are wonderful hosts, welcoming and discreet. Highly recommended.
