Large, well-equipped property in a...<br>#128578; The facilities inside the main living areas were very good and the kitchen was well-equipped. The garden was very secure which was ideal as we travelled with two dogs and the pool was nice and clean. The property is situated in a quiet, residential area which was peaceful and pleasant. The local village is only two minutes away by car and has a lovely bar/restaurant, boulangerie, boucherie and cash point. The property is in a good location for exploring the Dordogne region.<br>#128577; There were hornets nesting in the roof of the property and these were able to access the top room through a gap in the ceiling. They also congregated around the pool-side table which reduced the amount of time we could spend socialising in this area. Hopefully, this is just a temporary issue? The route to the pool from the main house took you through the utility room which was rather scruffy and would benefit from some redecorating.
