Gorges du Tarn : charmant gîte avec vue sur le Tarn

😊: The gite was very well equipped with everything we needed. In between St Enimie and La Maléne it was quiet but easily accessible to both beautiful little towns.. 😢: All was good.

😊: Lovely little gite overlooking the river. V comfortable and well-equipped with 2 pretty terraces overlooking the garden and river. A good base to explore the area.....spectacular and interesting. About 15 minutes to St Énimie and roughly the same to La Malène. Good restaurants in both. Fantastic walking opportunities within easy reach by car....La Cirque des Baumes within 20 minutes drive for example.. Wonderful birdwatching....vultures and eagles to be seen throughout this extraordinary valley.. 😢: You do need to have done your shopping before you arrive.....it is a drive to the boulangerie in St Ênimie and there is only a little grocery stall there. Florac has a Carrefour and a market on Thursdays.. It's a small hamlet with all that that implies....perfect if you hsve your food, bread and wine, but not so good if you arrive on Saturday night with nothing.. Brilliant, but be prepared!!.
