Spent 6 days at the property and was utterly charmed. Old house in the country side steps from vineyards (hard to find bad wine) and a short walk from a solid Patisserie. Short drive to world class beaches in sleepy villages. Terrific fresh veg/fruit in road-side stands, big supermarkets also a close distance away, ditto pharmacies. Stayed there with 6 adults, 3 young kids, and everyone had a blast (note to parents: pool has an alarm system and is well gated so likelihood of kids sneaking in and getting into trouble is significantly mitigated, though always present). Area is quiet, pleasant, and well worth a visit. Be advised: old house, so comes with old house quirks, including a mouse. This did not detract in any way from the visit and was totally reasonable given it's an old country house. I'd say it even added to the charm. Final note: you may be charged additional fee for linens and towels. This is normal in France, as the French travel with those items. Conclusion: highly recommended for a family vacation.

We had a lovely time! We all really enjoyed our time in the Var region of France and will be back. Lots of places to vIsit, too many to mention we took a different direction each day. Loved relaxing under the beautiful old tree in the evening after a swim in the pool. The house had everything we needed, lots of information on what activities were on offer and places to visit. Its the best time, one week in the south of France in June, not too hot, not too cold and not too many people around. Living in the Mas du Galantin is definitely the place to be, sitting at night in a lovely garden with a very old Platane (tree). Being able to eat good food, bought earlier at a charming market close by in Sanary. Its a nice little fishing village with friendly and helpful market people. We were also spoiled to be able to drink some excellent wine that we bought in the wine cellar du Galantin , where the owner tells you about his wines. The house is over 200 yrs old and is a very charming and cosy. Its wonderful to be woken up by the sun and being able to just walk and buy morning bread from a wonderful bakers on the doorstep, then spend a relaxing breakfast in the garden....urban life just does not at all match it!! And as for all the fans of jogging or walking, we have found the route GR 151 going up on the Gros Cerveau walking over the crete and you get an excellent view point of the whole area, including the sea, its just amazing and we will be back there again. A week is really too short to explore the region ... still so many things to visit .... Marseille, Cassis, Calanques, plage de st.Cyr for diving and and and... As you can we see we love it and we definitely will be back...soon.

We have had many holidays in this area of Provence but our first stay in this property. The property details are accurate, it was very well cared for, clean and comfortable and had a charming french "feel" about it. The kitchen was particulary well equipped. The location is good with easy access to a variety of places of interest (Le Castellet very close by) and a good choice of some excellent beaches not too far away. The pool at the property is shared with other guests but is of sufficient size to accomodate with adequate number of sun umbrellas/loungers etc There is an excellent boulangerie (essential for the true french experience!)) within walking distance. We will return and be pleased also to recommend.

The appartment is situated in the very old historical house which, we dare to say, is being maintained carrefully by his owners. The atmosphere is pleasant. The beds are good and there is everything what one needs for a comfortable vacation. The beach towns are closely located. The house is easy to reach from the highway. The supermarkets are not far (by car). Behind the gates of the property there is enough space for parking. There is also room for all guests around the swimming pool. From the sleeping rooms one can enjoy observation of the wine fields and aslo the mountains. There is a sunny terasse with also the shadow of a very old olive tree: it is very cosy to seat there reading the book (by the way, there is a big collection of books in different languages (English, German and French) in the sitting room of the house). There are some medival villages nearby. Marseille is also not far by car via La Ciotat and Cassis through a scenic region and one can make different walks in the nature enjoying beautiful views: green and see. We were very delighted to stay in this special house which is located in the very beautiful green region of the country.
